We hit the road with Miss Fit today to explore Grand Teton National Park. The day started out super smog/smoky from local and distant wildfires. Then it got pretty blustery when a thunderstorm rolled in over the Tetons and Jenny Lake during the shuttle boat ride to the other side. Persevering (although Good Buddy was cursing under her breath half the time), we then made the short hike to Hidden Falls in time for the rain to clear. We took the Moose Wilson Road out of the park and true to its name we saw a young moose wandering by the river. On the drive back it was more magic-- a double rainbow AND a Weinermobile! Like Whoa!!
Shed Antler Arch in Jackson Hole, WY. Yes, back in Wyoming again.
These locusts have been everywhere since Colorado.
What a rack!
Jackson Lake and the Teton range obscured by haze of smoke.
Cute sign and people were actually heeding it too.
Proper Mask wearing as illustrated by Mother Trucker.
Bullwinkle's son Bobby the Moose.
The Weinermobile looks so happy. Good Buddy used to see it around Torrance and El Segundo back in the day. Cool to see it on the road.
