The drive today to Yosemite was nailbiting at best. Good Buddy had a glass of Pino Grigio to make it through 60 some miles of wild roads. 25 of those miles were on a 1.5 lane road with hairpin turns, 24% grade, blind spots galore, and STEEP drop offs off the shoulders. We used RV Trip Wizard to plan the route, so we are not sure why it sent us that way. The signs all said vehicles over 25ft in length should turn around.
After 4 hours of white-knuckling it, we did make it to the rv park. With the fires, it is very empty and that is quite okay.
Fun silhouette signs near Carson City, NV.
Scenic but scary drive through the Stanislaus National Forest. We didn't get any pics of the extreme grades and turns because we were holding on for our lives.
Passed through the town of Columbia, CA. It's old architecture was very delightful and whimsical.
Houdini was struggling to keep his breakfast down through the twists and turns.
